Hummell and Kimura Chiropractic has taken the philosophy of chiropractic removing nerve interference from misaligned spinal segments and added another dimension.

We take chiropractic to a unique level by balancing the muscles and joints to work together. Even organs need to be addressed through spinal adjustments, nutrition and or trigger point therapy.

When the human body is unbalanced, it tries to compensate for the traumas endured altering the pelvis, shoulder’s, and neck creating a distorted outside figure.

What we emphasize here is to find the causes and try to release the muscle tension by finding and stimulating trigger points (or fibrous adhesions), which can be the cause or one of many manifested symptoms. Therefore, relaxing the defensive mode of the body controlled by the Central and Peripheral nervous systems. This allows us not only to establish better posture and functioning throughout the body, but the adjustments, if needed, will give better motion to the joints involved to let the body heal quicker in acute situations or give longer lasting relief to chronic problems.

Most of the techniques in our chiropractic office involves soft tissue work (Applied Kinesiology and Nimmo).
